Finally a Lesson Written!
Today…err tonight I taught myself a life lesson, or just a lesson because I doubt I can remember it for a lifetime. But a lesson nevertheless. When I was texting a friend of mine, I realized something that you probably already knew, but hey you are talking to a snail here! Anyways I found out that even if a person can not or will not give you something that you want whether it be a relationship (abstract thing), or a concrete object you still have the power in your hands to make that person feel on top of the world and wanted. Just because they won’t give doesn’t mean you should take away…be able to do what they call “take the higher road” and be the bigger man/woman. My name (which will remain nameless) means “Protector of Man” and right now I believe I am protecting the lineage of man *ding* from separating and becoming selfish as I am. Think about it, and then leave a comment or your likeness! CYA!
Staring?
Alright my bedroom window faces out to the neighborhood, but even without it, I always tend to think that people are watching me. I mean don’t you? I have had my moments of staring before but seriously why do I live like I am on a TV show? One time I was talking to a group of my friends and said something that got them all laughing pretty good, then thought to myself, “Why is the audience not laughing?!?” Oh what stupid self, THERE IS NO AUDIENCE! When I dance to practice and what not, sure you pretend there are observers but not at random times in life. I have tired thinking of my own TV theme, video taping a new show, and I think I just for some reason want to be on TV. Again everybody does, but that is because they want to be actors, I just apparently want an audience. I have had stalker cars, smokers, teen guys, but never a full set of interested people…AM I NOT INTERESTING…maybe.
So…
Been a while and I thought I would write on my birthday but then I ran out of time in my day…and who would write a blog at another friend’s sweet 16? Well, here is what I typed up though on May 25th, 2012:
*deep breath* Today I am 16. Wow, the world looks so…mundane. Or mundane (pronounced differently), and I still can’t correctly pronounce anything…nothing has changed over a year. Is my perspective more open, my mind expanded farther? For the most part no, but somewhere in the future years it might be…things will change no doubt but the question is when. The one things I hate about birthdays is…you want to be invisible, it is decided, but can’t you ask for a little attention? Then it gets you thinking, have I deserved attention? And all your choices are rethought, which takes a while. Birthdays, anniversaries, any sort of celebration that appreciates how long something has lasted really makes you reflect. Possibly regret or agree on all the past situations and choices you have made. It can suck, but then again it can make you truly value life the way it was suppose to be. So the next time you celebrate, don’t cry over how old or how happy you are now. Were you happy in the past to get to where you are? Think about that…or not you don’t have to. It is not like I will teleport to your front lawn and start throwing dogs at you.
New Idea, for those without Vocaloid
If you know what Vocaloid is great! (You can scroll past the picture for the idea) If you don’t, then (sarcastic) great… Vocaloid is a program from Japan that allows you to make melodies and songs (in Japanese), but when you choose a voice you get to pick from a group of characters called Vocaloids. If you have never heard of these or their music, then I suggest pulling up YouTube and typing in “The world is mine hatsune Miku” or “Mosaik Role”
If you do not own this amazing software then there is an alternate. (sort of) I was playing around with Google Translator last night and found the speaker button so I could listen to a woman say it…then I thought well with Garageband or Audacity I could easily make her a child or even a man. So I went out and did so, then thought will auto-tuning work? (no, but if you figure that out, let me in!) So I pulled together some pictures of a girl, a boy, and a letter…then typed in sentences into the translator (recording them all into garageband) then with iMovie edited the video and now I have “Fix You” (instrumental) playing behind a girl reading a letter to the guy. It looked pretty neat and sounds awesome.
What you need: – Audio Editing System (Audacity, Garageband) / – Movie Editing Software (iMovie, Movie Maker) / – Internet Access (optional) / – a translator (online, or do it yourself) / – a Microphone (or someway to record it) / – pictures (of your characters) / – music (to fit the mood)
Now just open up the audio system and get that translator. If you are doing online translations and have a built-in mic then listen…while that system is open, type in your first and/or second sentence into the translation. (the reason being so that when you are putting english translations on the bottom or wherever you have space between them to pick out the phrases. (kinda tough) After all the recording is done, try to find a way to boost the pitch on your character (to your liking) and then save it, and export it as a WAV. or MP3. (depending on the software) Then open the movie editing software and put your pictures in there and you music (or any order)…finally add your audio of the translator (can be ANY language) and create subtitles (if you want) for english or any viewers. Then you are FINISHED! Do whatever you want with it.
I successfully created my own at 2 AM but have no YouTube account (parents) and this thing won’t let you upload your own videos *frowns* so if I ever can show it off…I will! Good luck!
“Fix You” Interpretation (Sort of Mushy and Personal…possibly just for girls)
If you have listened to Coldplay and enjoyed their sound… then you have probably heard their song “Fix You”. Ever since I found out my crush just wants to be friends…I have pictured Prom Night of him (my crush) feeling lonely and watching his crush lock lips with her boyfriend. To this song. I might be feeling a little depressed as well, so I head outside the venue and lay on a bench to the first verse:
“When you try your best, but you don’t succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need
When you feel so tired, but you can’t sleep
Stuck in reverse
And the tears come streaming down your face
When you lose something you can’t replace
When you love someone, but it goes to waste
Could it be worse?”
Then the chorus will play while I try to control my tears outside, and think of how lucky his crush is (cause I think they are together):
“Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you”
Then the camera then transitions to my crush and he sees her kiss her man on the line “watch it work” then during the chorus he is accepting failure and feeling lonely:
“And high up above or down below (kind of the like all of the people on the social ladder)
When you’re too in love to let it go
But if you never try you’ll never know
Just what you’re worth
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you”
The next part is a guitar solo and then has a choir singing pieces of the chorus and then he winds up outside and on the last lines finds me to make me feel better…we end with a hug: (the last three lines are the chorus played with only piano instead of a full background of instruments)
“Tears stream down on your face
When you lose something you cannot replace
Tears stream down on your face
And I…
Tears stream down on your face
I promise you I will learn from my mistakes
Tears stream down on your face
And I…
Lights will guide you home
And ignite your bones
And I will try to fix you”
Sorry to waste anyone’s time with my thoughts like this…just one of the guys that I hate to lose… So if you have a tough situation you are going through and wish it would go your way… just listen to a song (any kind) and imagine your dream ending…really calms your nerves
The Big Bang Theory (What a SHOW!)…PG-13
Okay if you already don’t know…I am a nerd. Or a geek we shall say. The point I am trying to get across is, I need a place where I fit in and can use big words people will understand, watch robot competitions, and laser up the moon from time to time. This magical and quixotic paradise would be the show The Big Bang Theory. Only been on for five seasons, The Big Bang Theory has been a successfully newly added show on TBS, WZDX, and WHNT. You watch for the comedy but get involved for the fun. If you have never experienced this explosion of the universe, then you should know what to expect…
Sheldon and Leonard live in the same apartment because they both work at the university as scientists. Sheldon is a little crabby, very strict, and too smart even though his roommate is also a scientist. Leonard falls for Penny (the girl lives across the hall, NOT SMART, and thinks Leonard and all his friends are creepers and weird) a couple of times, but also runs through a couple of tough predicaments with Sheldon and his unbearable rules of the land. Through the shows you tend to meet Howard and Rajh who are friends of Leonard but soon become in contact with Sheldon as well. Howard is a little perverted, and pulls the facade of being a “ladies-man” and Rajh is the complete opposite…an Indian-guy who freezes up when attractive females come about.
Favorite Quotes:
- “Man that must be jelly because jam don’t shake like that!” – Howard
- “Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors” – Sheldon
- “Yes… For God’s sake, Sheldon, do I have to hold up a sarcasm sign every time I open my mouth?” – Leonard
- (After trying to get a heavy box up the stairs, he lets it go by accident and they have to start all over…) “Ah gravity, thou art a heartless bitch…”
- “Penny: Another night? I guess your could try… but deep inside your heart you’ll know that laundry night is always Saturday night.
Sheldon: Woman, you’re playing with forces beyond your ken
Penny: Yeah, well your Ken can kiss my Barbie.”
As you can see everyone on this show has their own perspectives about one another, and that helps the show play out in a comedic way. So if you ever want to make fun of us nerds, or just chill out with them…then check out The Big Bang Theory!
!Doodle 4 Google! (I know slant rhyme… Come on Google!)
Doodle 4 Google 2012: If I could travel in time, I’d visit…
Start Doodling!
Have you ever really checked out the detail and creativity of those Google Doodles that change every 24 hours? Well in May it could be yours!
If you visit - http://www.google.com/doodle4google/ you can get the forms to print and mail in your doodle!
If you visit the home page of the site above you notice that the theme this year is, “If I Could Travel in Time, I Would Visit…”
“The National Winner will have his or her doodle featured on the U.S. Google.com homepage on May 18, 2012 for 24 hours. He or she will be awarded a $30,000 college scholarship to be used at the school of his or her choice, a trip to New York for an event on May 17, 2012, a Google Chromebook computer, a Wacom digital design tablet, and a t-shirt printed with his or her doodle on it. We’ll also award the winner’s full time school a $50,000 technology grant towards the establishment or improvement of a computer lab or technology programming.” – Doodle 4 Google Site
So there is a lot to go for… When on the site you can click on the “Learn How to Enter” button and it will lead you to the info page which you can scan through for some random and yet obvious info. Around the top right corner you will see a drop-down bar that says “–Select a Doodle 4 Google Entry Form–” and if you click on that the three choices, “Entry Form with no logo option, With logo option 1, and logo option 2.” The 1st doodle option is the form with a 2nd page consisting of a faded google logo to help you trace and create… The 2nd option has a dotted logo with no color whatsoever. Once you choose one click the “Download” link and when opened it might be in PDF form which you can still type in… but be aware when you save a PDF file the typing changes aren’t kept so either keep it minimized after you finish or wait till you are going to print and mail.
I chose the 80s because music is what makes my life worthwhile and the 80s is best known for its musical years. And you should be getting your doodle reason into words because on page one of the form you have to type a statement. (Max. 50 words) All submissions need to be sent by March 23, 2012… Good Luck!
P.S.- If you do not win first there is a very good chance you could still win a little something-something! Plus, what do you have to lose, if you can’t draw use a computer software and if you can, grab your pencil! Take a chance and let life take its course!

Why Freak?!?!? (Another Relationship Blog… Guys Be Aware…)
Okay I cannot figure out why I freak over anything that has to do with a date, or dating. Like Prom which is next March for me, (March 2013) and I keep thinking back to how I have never had a boyfriend this far so I will be dateless for it. And isn’t that something to be a little upset about? I mean all your friends are gong to try their best to have a date… I mean it is Prom! By the ay, all my friends are like prettier than I am and way more popular, so I have a high probability of being dateless when that big milestone rolls around. Though, if I am single still, or dateless, when Prom does butt it’s head in at least it will be good to know that maybe I am not supposed to be married in my lifetime. Better safe than sorry, I mean it is like a career. If I knew that I suck at drawing, which I do, then it is good to know and accept that now so that when I am in college picking a major I know that there is nothing for me in something like animation. Same thing with love, I think, if I am single till like thirty then it is probably just not meant to be.
I am starting to think about Ted from How I Met Your Mother at the moment. Why does he keep trying and trying? He has been through like 30 different relationships and (I am in Season 4) he is like 30/31 so why doesn’t he accept defeat and focus on his architecture firm? I know it sounds weird that I am becoming a quitter or would at least if Prom does turn out the way I think it will, but I am a safe person and I do want to take risks… Risks like skydiving or treasure hunting… Not throwing my life away to finding my “true love”. My best friend is on her second boyfriend this year (and second of her life… Dang she is moving fast) and to be as honest as possible I am kind of jealous. I would never sabotage her relationships, the feeling is not taking over me, but I have to say I sometimes want to be just like her to see if it works. Being like her, if I would get my first boyfriend faster? I was brainstorming a song a day ago and I wrote, “Would I really sacrifice a friendships end, for my desire to have a boyfriend?” And that is another perspective that if he doesn’t like me and I put myself out there (not body language wise or physically) like asking for his phone number or asking him out… Then it could turn him off completely and our friendship might not even make it.

There is a lot to think about when it comes to love, but I am a teenager and I think maybe it is good that there have been no crushes in the longest time so that way I can focus and finish school successfully. I hope all you out there are doing well in whatever relationships are presently surviving and good luck to those with and without a man in mind.
10 Things I Hate About Guys
The following does not apply to all guys… Only some have these qualities that make me mad!
10. How some stick on the same subject because since it is the only area they are good in they think they have to talk about that only. Ex. “Hey so what did you think of Reel Steel?” ”Did you know that there is more than one type of Carbon?” ”Umm you haven’t seen the movie?” ”There is Carbon-12 and Carbon-14!”
9. When you tell them no and they still won’t leave you alone… To annoy, or try to hit on you…
8. How they use teasing, calling names, joking on (…etc.) using hatred, in a nutshell, as a cover up for their actual feelings
7. Athletes or not the whole sandals with socks thing has to go!
6. How they think jealousy is the only way to win a girls heart back
5. When they try to pick up their ex’s best friend
4. How they play love like it is a game
3. How some live the traditional way and think it is “for the best” (Traditional Way: guys have to pay for dinner, have to make the first move… etc.) Some moms are like that too!
2. Using tricks like taking girls on scary rides so they will run into their arms from fright… Jerks!
1. How they have to be macho whenever their peers are around… either your reputation or a relationship! (It is like a whole other side to them)
